the first steel diaper pail

In 2007, Pearhead Inc.'s co-founder Tom became a father and couldn’t find a diaper pail that kept the smell locked in when closed. An engineer by trade, he started working with a team of industrial designers and engineers.

In 2011, the Ubbi brand was created to launch the first steel diaper pail that offered the convenience and value of using any standard trash bag, a breakthrough in the diaper disposal market. Unlike plastic, steel is not porous and keeps the smell locked inside.
